Your Earth Day Impact

Your Earth Day Impact

This Earth Day, something truly beautiful happened—and it’s all thanks to you. With your support, we're planting over 15,000 trees in partnership with One Tree Planted - that's more than 75 acres of new forest!

Over their lifespan, these trees will help restore ecosystems, sequester carbon, and create habitats for wildlife.

Whether you purchased Vanilla Honey or stocked up on your everyday deo favorites, each jar played a part in making this happen.

These trees aren’t just numbers—they’re hope, impact, and regeneration for the planet.

Your Earth Day Impact

The trees you helped plant will absorb carbon dioxide, protect wildlife, and heal landscapes for decades to come.*

1. Carbon Offset; these 15,000 trees will absorb 9 million pounds of CO2.

Forests function as carbon sinks, capturing atmospheric carbon dioxide and helping to slow the pace of climate change.

2. Habitat Restoration; hundreds of species will find home in this new forset.

Healthy forests rebuild ecosystems, protect endangered wildlife, and support critical pollinators like bees and butterflies.

3. Soil Preservation; 75,000 pounds of topsoil will be preserved every year.

Tree roots stabilize soil, preventing erosion, preserving farmland, and protecting waterways from sediment pollution.

4. Watershed Protection; millions of gallons of rainwater will be captured and filtered.

Forests protect watersheds by capturing rainfall, reducing runoff, and naturally filtering water before it reaches rivers and aquifers.

5. Oxygen Production; 30,000 people's daily oxygen needs will be met.

Each tree produces enough oxygen for two people daily, creating cleaner, healthier air for communities around the world.

Why Trees? Why One Tree Planted?

Reforestation is one of the most effective ways to combat climate change, rebuild ecosystems, and support biodiversity. One Tree Planted is a nonprofit organization focused on global reforestation—restoring lands affected by deforestation, wildfires, and unsustainable land use.

Their work spans across 80+ countries, supporting projects that:

  • Revitalize damaged land
  • Support indigenous communities
  • Protect endangered species and pollinators
  • Improve watershed health
  • Foster long-term ecological balance

We’re especially proud to support One Tree Planted’s Monarch Butterfly Habitat Restoration Project—a program that reforests Mexico’s Oyamel Fir forests, the critical overwintering grounds for millions of monarchs each year. Our farm in Tennessee sits right along the monarch migration path, and seeing them flutter through our pastures each fall makes this cause feel even more personal.

A Small Jar, A Big Impact

Every Earth Day jar you scooped up helped grow a forest. That’s not just feel-good fluff—it’s real, measurable environmental impact.

And while Earth Day is just one day on the calendar, our commitment to sustainability is a year-round promise. From solar-powered production on our farm to regenerative grazing and eco-friendly packaging, we’re always looking for ways to protect the planet we all call home.

*Impact numbers are estimates based on widely accepted environmental science research, including data from the U.S. Forest Service. Acreage is calculated using a standard planting density of approximately 200 trees per acre. Actual results may vary depending on tree species, planting conditions, and regional ecosystems.
