From City To Farm

Eileen & James here, Co-Founders of Little Seed Farm. I bet you'd never guess that over a decade ago we were living in New York City climbing the corporate ladder! James was a financial analyst and Eileen was a fashion designer. We had achieved our childhood dreams, but for some reason, we weren't happy.

We were living for the weekend, dreading Mondays... Maybe you've been there?

Then, we fell down the rabbit hole. We read Michael Pollan's book, The Omnivore's Dilemma, and from that point on, our eyes were wide open to the impact of our choices on the environment. As we started to shift our lifestyle and discover the power of clean living, we began sourcing our food locally and purging our bathroom shelves of toxic conventional skincare products, making our own instead.

We knew in our hearts that we needed to be a part of the movement towards a more sustainable and humane future. But how?

In a search for our unique contribution to the cause, we volunteered at local farms that practiced sustainable farming. The idea of reconnecting with nature and starting our own farm started as a dream, but soon turned into an all-consuming passion. It was time to leave the city.

We found land near Nashville and decided to uproot everything to pursue our own farm dreams. Thanks to our amazing customers and team, that dream has grown into Little Seed Farm. We're so glad you're here!
